If you're tired of being in lock-down, you're probably looking for somewhere to go. Here's a few things to consider.
First, stay local. Enjoy or investigate what's in your local neighborhood, such as museums, state parks, and other attractions like Inner Space Cavern here in Georgetown, TX.
Outdoor places where social distancing will not be an issue like hiking and biking trails come to mind next. Then, think about America's greatest treasure, our National Parks.
For the trailblazers out there, you can pack up, hop on a plane and fly to the Caribbean.
The remaining countries have more stringent requirements, some that may be difficult to achieve given the lengthy time before test results are returned. Antigua and Barbuda, St Lucia and Grenada require a negative COVID test within 7 days of arrival. Grenada requires a retest 48 hours after arrival. Jamaica requires a negative test within 10 days of arrival for people from Arizona, Florida, and Texas. Aruba, Puerto Rico, St Vincent and St Martin all require a negative test upon arrival.
In Puerto Rico you will require a test upon arrival and a 14-day quarantine if you do not bring a negative test with you. Turks and Caicos requires a negative test within 5 days of arrival. Barbados, St Barthelemy, Dominica and Belize (opens August 15th) require a negative test within 72 hours of arrival. St Barthelemy requires a retest on the 7th day if you are staying more than one week. Confused? Give us a call and we'll sort through the latest restrictions for your chosen destination.
